Snack Bar Quoiting Scene
The Snack Bar sports one set of quoit boards in the back of their bar with ample
space for a great game of quoits. The quoit boards are used often and players range anywhere
between beginner to expert. Many players are good enough to play on a league but
may not have the freedom in their schedules to meet the demands of the quoit league
game schedule. Beginners and intermediates find it to be a great place to play a
friendly game. If the boards are being used you simply challenge the winners for the
next game.
Other Snack Bar Attractions
Other attractions at the Snack Bar include a billiards league and "open mic night"
(karaoke), a jukebox, and off-street parking. They also have a full menu of a variety of bar foods, beer, and drinks,
and it is a popular
pre-turkey day game hangout. For those outside of the area the big turkey-day
game is Phillipsburg High School vs. Easton High School football teams. This is
the oldest high school football rivalry in the United States. The Snack Bar has
been in existence since 1940 and Joe Farley, the current owner, has owned it since
1986.
